The Schwab Series 5000 - Fire-Resistant - 3-Side Tab and 1-Drawer Lateral Filing Cabinet is ideally suited for use in the healthcare industry or anywhere documents need to be safe and secure for extended periods of time. It's constructed of fire-resistant materials and features the patented Insulate fire protection insulation. Lateral access means you can easily view everything in storage all at once, and these units will accommodate both letter- and legal-size documents. The doors on the shelves are fully retractable and swing up and out of the way. These file cabinets are impact-tested at falls up to 30 feet and can withstand fires up to 1,700 degrees. Choose 43- or 36-inch width and Black, Putty, or Light Grey colors.

The underwriter's laboratories (U. L.) test the product by heating it up to 1,700 degrees (most fires reach 800 degrees) over the course of an hour, then cooling it over several days. The interior temperature must remain at or below 125 degrees. This product meets or exceeds all tests for heat, impact, and water resistance. In the event the filing cabinet falls through a floor or is knocked by support beams, the drawers will not jar open.

Dock-to-Dock - Delivery to a business address with a shipping dock and forklift available.
