Description

Get smart, convenient storage from the Schwab Series 5000 - Fire-Resistant - 2 Side Tab and 2-Drawer Lateral Filing Cabinet. Capable of holding legal- and letter-size documents, this filing cabinet is diverse and functional. It's constructed of fire-resistant materials and features a patented Insulate fire protection insulation. On the top half of the unit are two shelves featuring fully retractable doors that swing up and out of your way. The two drawers on the bottom are independently secured and all four storage units feature recessed handles. Tested up to a 30-foot fall and at fires up to 1,700 degrees, this file cabinet is ideal for use in areas like the healthcare industry, where records must remain protected and in storage for many years. Choose a 43- or 36-inch width and from several color options.

The underwriter's laboratories (U. L.) test the product by heating it up to 1,700 degrees (most fires reach 800 degrees) over the course of an hour, then cooling it over several days. The interior temperature must remain at or below 125 degrees. This product meets or exceeds all tests for heat, impact, and water resistance. In the event the filing cabinet falls through a floor or is knocked by support beams, the drawers will not jar open.

Commercial - Delivery to a business address (non-residential area) includes inside delivery to a ground floor location or elevator accessible location. Includes up to three steps and/or elevator.

Dock-to-Dock - Delivery to a business address with a shipping dock and forklift available.
