This is a filing cabinet that does not look like one! You get the benefit of an attractive, reasonably priced, and durable filing cabinet that looks great in your home. Assembly went smoothly, although it does take several hours. I think the key to assembly is to read the instructions through before you start, lay out the parts and hardware, and follow the instructions step by step. This cabinet is an example of the product being better than expected.

I am pretty experienced at furniture assembly and this was the most difficult thing I have ever put together. I had to work on it over two days because I had blisters from screwing in so many screws. I would recommend investing in a power drill before attempting assembly.

    Great looking piece of furniture: fits nicely under our open stairwell. At first I wished it had a lock but if it did I guess it would look like a filing cabinet. Put a nice lamp on it and stashed my printer upstairs in a spare bedroom. JUST REMEMBER YOU CANNOT OPEN BOTH DRAWERS AT THE SAME TIME. Nice safety feature but husband couldn't figure out why he couldn't get the second drawer out for ease in moving.
