I am returning this filing cabinet! There are many pitted groupings in the finish. Either my filing cabinet is defective or if this is the reason they call the finish distressed it is not acceptable. The pitted groupings look unnatural. In each grouping there are about 30-40 pits and there are three groupings on the face of EACH drawer. There are also these groupings on the sides of the cabinet and trim. This is a fairly expensive filing cabinet and the word "unacceptable" is fitting. Just as a side note, the cherry color is really more of a dark brown.

This is the best file cabinet I have ever owned (and I am 62). The drawers work very well. Th hang file "holders" are particularly stable and not likely to fail from metal fatigue, poor fit, etc. It also looks great.[...].It is still worth it.
