Got the cabinet together by following the directions okay but when it came time to screw in the camloks it was extremely difficult when I could get them to screw in and they even broke....Read complete review

Got the cabinet together by following the directions okay but when it came time to screw in the camloks it was extremely difficult when I could get them to screw in and they even broke. Got to the last drawer and ran out of the size camlok needed. Customer service could not give me any replacements cause they did not have them and then offered a 10% to go find them myself. I had the same problem on something else so went around trying to find the camloks but was unsuccessful. Still working on that one. Hopefully customer service will give me a contact from Hawthorne.

    Once assembled unit was not plumb. Drawers sagged on one side. I had to finally use clamps to hold the unit together while I tightened the camlocks on the front horizontal braces and the top piece to minimize the out of plumb. The sagging caused the drawers to go in on an angle into the unit. The sagging resulted in the sides of the drawers not being equidistant from the sides of the cabinet and the drawers are "cocked" somewhat. The temporary use of clamps while assembling the unit helped to rectify some of the sagging and misalignment of the drawers.

    I really would have appreciated aligned drawer brackets. Luckily I was able to drill new holes and realign them myself. The assembly is easy it just takes a bit of time.

    My only complaint is that I didn't expect that only the top drawer would have a lock. Also, it isnotas deep of a cabinet as a standard one.
