    I like the look of the file cabinet. It also of good construction but it was missing a part and also one screw for the draw slider was backed out which interfered with the draw movement.

            I normally don't buy furniture without seeing it in person first, but we were pleasantly surprised by this piece. It looks good, functions as it should, was put together in under an hour, and yet doesn't weight too much. Would've bought the whole set if we didn't already have a computer desk.

            A: Full assembly is required.  Please see the assembly instructions l ink for the most current up to date instructions.  Yes the drawers have ball bearing drawer guides.

            Q2: Does the top drawer lock, lock only the top drawer or does the top lock lock both drawers simultaneously?

            A: The lock is functional on the top drawer only.
