After seeing the high prices for other wood 4 drawer cabinets, I feared this one might be a piece of junk. But it's actually very nice, looks good and seems sturdy. It was kind of a pain to put it together, but the directions were fairly straightfoward. I don't understand why the last step has you bolting the cabinet to a wall. I didn't do that, and so far so good.

I was impressed with the look of this piece but not too happy with the construction of it. Easy enough to assemble (It took me about an hour)even with the so-so instructions. What I was mainly disappointed with was that after putting it together(I glued all dowels-not required- and used a power screwdriver to make sure all camlocks were secure)it was still very wobbly and does not seem to be at all sturdy. Up against a wall in a corner it is solid enough for my use.I'm okay with this one but I wouldn't buy another one.

      Advertised as solid wood veneer construction. Yes it has a oak wood veneer but the box is made of particle board. Solid wood means either solid lumber or plywood. FALSE ADVERTISING. I had to rip down the drawer sides to make them fit the hole. The assembly hardware is poor, so I glued everything together. The blind holes for the assembly hardware leaves such a thin layer on the back side that the slightest pressure will blow it out. The lock won't lock. I wasn't expecting high quality for [$], but I do expect honest advertising and a product that can actually function for it's intended purpose. Without space to place labels on hanging files, it's pretty much worthless. If you don't have any woodworking skills, DON'T BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS MANUFACTURER.

          This product looks and feels cheap. definately not worth the $! drawers don't fit flush, it is wobbly, looks cheap, and I am sorry I bought it. I had to glue in several places to get it to hold together. the drawers are also not deep, so it does not hold much more than the good 2 drawer cabinet I had. Do not buy this file cabinet!
