I absolutely love this comptemporary file cabinet - it is really made well and the delivery was wonderful - the (downside) no hanging letter folder bars were included so I had to order some this morning in order to use the file cabinet.

Other downside - It took 2 people 5 1/2 hours to assemble - the instructions were questionable with
doted lines and no 3-D pictures to insure you were putting it together correctly.

The box arrived mangled and the item inside was damaged beyond repair.

Service and delivery comments:

When this filing cabinet was delivered (left on my porch), the box was completely mangled and someone had attempted to tape it back together. Of course, when I opened the box, the filing cabinet inside was damaged as well. I returned the item and asked that a replacement be sent. Instead, I was given a refund, which was $6 less than I paid for the item. If I had just changed my mind once the item had arrived, I would expect to pay a shipping or restock fee, but since the item was damaged beyond repair, I shouldn't have to pay for that. I've sent 2 e-mails to Hayneedle asking why I didn't receive a full refund (or receive a replacement item, as requested) and neither e-mail has been answered. My account on their website also shows that the return is pending even though the item was returned some time ago and I have received the (partial) refund. If this is any example of the type of service one can expect to receive from Hayneedle, I suggest you avoid them like the plague.
