VERY easy to assemble. Went together quickly and easily. Nice finish, rich looking. The drawers had a gap and would not close completely to the cabinet. Figured out that they didn't take into account the rubber bumpers on the drawer hardware. Once removed, they closed completely, however, they close with a noise. Put my own felt bumpers on the back of the faces of the drawers and it was very quiet. The back was missing so couldn't quit finish the unit. I have contacted them about it. The instruction booklet only contains pictures, no words, so if you've never put something together it will be challenging. I had no problem.

I was very disappointed in the cam design. I have assembled furniture before with this kind of cam mechanism without any problems, but it didn't work well at all this time. Perhaps the holes weren't drilled in quite the right place. The cams are supposed to be turned until you hear and feel them lock into place. I had only one of them lock in place. One of them split the wood as I tried to get it to lock. Overall, the cabinet looks nice and apprears to work well ( I haven't filled it yet), but be careful cranking down on the cams. It would have been better to assemble it using glue and clamps.

I ordered 5 file cabinets for next day shipment and the company never shipped it and did not tell me until the next morning so it was too late to get it for that day. Poor communication. Can't trust this vendor will not purchase from them again!

Item arrived quickly. Assembly was not too difficult. Seemed okay until I looked closely at it. There were scratches on every piece. Another disappointed - it is a lateral file hanging system, so even though it is 19" deep, that doesn't matter, it is the width that determines how many folders you can put in there and that was only 18". One good thing, is that it comes with two different type of drawer pulls.
