My bigggest complaint was the instruct book. All there was were 2 dimensional pics, would have been easier with steps listed, to know what to do first. Biggest peeve was that there were some screw-type pins and cams, which looked rather complex on how to use them. There were like glorified nuts that were inset in many pieces...said to lock the pin into the cam with a phillips screwdriver. Would have been nice giving inst, or a diagram, on how to do that. Very confusing not having seeing a cam before. Could have used a 2nd person at beginning to put outside pieces together, due to weight, but after I got it together....it was relatively simple. Overall....has a very nice look in my home office.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

      The product is great for the price but I have to say the customer service is outstanding. I had an issue and called and received a replacement three days later.They stand behind there product. Very rare these days. I will now do a lot of my online shopping with hayneedle and will recommend this filing cabinet

      Bought this for home office use. The description listed this item as light oak. It is made of laminated pressboard that has no oak wood nor any finish that even resembles oak. The finish is a reddish stain. Cheap construction with dowels and metal studs and cams, it was not sturdy at all until fully assembled. It is spacious but certainly not a show piece as far as design or appearance. Looking at quality of this piece it is over priced. If you are looking for a "light Oak" filing cabinet pass this one by.
